Minister: Russia to amend list of goods for parallel imports

MOSCOW, Apr 25 (PRIME) -- The list of goods subject to parallel imports will be amended, Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said on Monday.

“This is a document that can either be extended or reduced in terms of items. If the producers stay, if the suppliers (of products) retain their import logistics and deliver their goods to the Russian market, we are interested in not including their products on our list in the order,” he said.

Last week the ministry compiled a list of goods for parallel imports, which means supplies without consent of the rights owner to return about 200 brands that left the market.

Manturov also told channel Rossiya 24 that Russia plans to buy car spare parts for the Russian facilities in Uzbekistan and is working on the list of the parts.
